This work was made at Pilchuck Glass Center through their ‘EAIR’ Artist-in-Residence
Program. Heat application was a key element in the production
of the work. The title, 1500 degrees, refers to the approximate
temperature at which glass frit has melted sufficiently
to produce the pate de verre pieces. The prints were made
by applying heat to wax dipped doilies.
